Interview with Rebeca Moneo (Managing Director)
“I began working for JUBA twelve years ago on a one-off job entering barcodes in the computer system and I was swiftly moved to the Invoicing Dept., managing orders and delivery notes, logistics, etc. until the company decided to set up an export department in 2006 that would be run separately. The fact that I had studied English and French made me an obvious choice to run it. It was a one-person department that started out small but, little by little, grew and expanded so that I am currently leading a team of 4 people, working in continental Europe, Turkey, North Africa and Central America, representing over 20% of JUBA's total turnover.
Nowadays, I am running the Export department, in turn sitting on the JUBA Board of Directors and I will shortly begin a new project as national and international Sales Director which I am thrilled to take on although aware of the great responsibility. JUBA has given me a great development opportunity both professionally and personally and all these years have represented an amazing learning experience in all aspects. I have been extremely lucky to work with an amazing team, aware that this company's great working atmosphere is one of the key aspects of its success. The people in this company are committed on a daily basis and we are highly involved in how it runs. Our working atmosphere is extremely positive as can be seen in our work because, in the end, we are all people and if we are motivated by working in a good atmosphere, the results are very positive.”
